My first two years of education were spent at the University of Cincinnati, and I recently transferred to OSU for a safer environment. I am a third year in the process of deciding what I want my major to be. Marketing has always been my go-to, but I feel I need more to it so I am debating on a minor in Communications. Also, graphic design has interested me since high school, but knowing the design programs are very select has discouraged me from going through with that option. For my future, I hope to work in the extreme sports industry. I am not positive what kind of position I would like to do, I just know I would be satisfied with any job in that field. From working at my job at Oakley for the past year and a half, I grow to love the company more each day and would like nothing more to have a career working for corporate Oakley in California in my future. While working at Oakley, I also work at Varsity Club as a server so my time is consumed by work and school. When I finally get some free time, I enjoy watching the recorded television shows I recorded from the past week, drinking with my friends, going to bars, traveling back home to Medina or to Cincinnati, and working out. And I am obsessed with my cat.

ReplyDeleteI really like your blog so far. I understand how you might feel a little unsafe at UC. When I went there for my MFA we were kicked out of our building for a few days because of riots downtown.
If you want to do design, we can talk about it. I have some words of advice that you might find helpful. For now, I am glad you are in the class and I look forward to seeing your work.
